February 2013 SeasonsBox

I’m ecstatic to be sharing the February 2013 Seasons box with you all, since I was very pleased with the January 2013 SeasonsBox, (read about in a previous post). Be sure to read until the bottom of the post for a little surprise!

UPDATE 2013/11/08: The company has since changed ownership twice, I do NOT recommend this service anymore as of now. See why here.

Seasonsbox has a theme each month, this month was LOVE Youself. February is a chaotic month that we often spend thinking about our loved ones, we sometimes forget to pamper ourselves a bit.

February 2013 SeasonsBox

SeasonsBox is specially curated with healthy and eco-conscious products designed to nourish your body, invigorate your taste buds, and relax your mind.

Kaia Naturals Bamboo Facial Cleansing Cloths

Kaia Naturals Bamboo Cleansing Cloths contain vitamins, organic honey, sunflower and citrus oils. Each cloth acts as three products in one: cleanser, toner and makeup remover. They are intended to be gentle facial cloths that will remove even waterproof makeup without irritating your face or eyes. They are 100% biodegradable as well as being sulfate, paraben, alcohol and synthetic fragrance free. They have a youtube channel, check out their cleansing cloths demonstration video.

We received a package of 30 sheets, I’m not sure how much they retail for because there isn’t an online store. They simply have a website with store locations, there are 3 locations in Québec, non of which are in Montréal.

Bambu Earth Sugar Cookie Body Glow

Bambu Earth Sugar Cookie Body Glow is handcrafted from scratch using natural ingredients such as mineral rich dead sea salt and coconut oil. It can be used in the shower two to three times per week to help skin regain and retain a healthy radiant glow. Its sugar cookies scent is entirely free of synthetic fragrances. The scent is beyond delicious, it feels like your cheating on your diet whenever you take a whiff! The full size product retails for $18.

Dream Organic Rose Water

It wouldn’t be a February box without something rose. Dream Organics Rose Water is crafted from the distillation of premium organic Bulgarian rose petals, infused with a rare organic rose essential oil. Rose Water is naturally rich in antioxidants and hydrating for all skin types. A light mist can be used to improve complexion, reduce redness, and set makeup. The scent is gorgeous too. We received a 100 mL bottle, which retails for $22.

Galerie Au Chocolat Fair Trade Bar

Chocolate is another February classic, what with Valentine’s Day and all! Galerie Au Chocolat was founded in Montreal in 1985 by a Canadian chocolatier. The fair trade bar uses real Belgium chocolate. I received the 95g maple crunch flavor, which retails for $5.

Overall, I’m absolutely enthused about everything in this box. Naturally, the chocolate was the first to go (I shared a few pieces with my mom and boyfriend, too). I’m very excited to try out the Rose Water and the Juicy Bamboo facial cloths. As for the Salt Glow, I’m typically too lazy to use scrubs. However when I try it out, I’ll be sure to come back to this post and add updates.
