My Everyday Makeup

I’m wanted to do an updated everyday makeup routine for ages, but something held me back. This past Christmas I was asked to join the newly launched Fashion Magazine Beauty Panel. Every week, 11 Canadian beauty bloggers will tackle a new beauty challenge. The first week’s topic was everyday makeup. What did I tell you? Things happen for a reason!

I filmed my go-to everyday makeup minus my foundation (updated foundation routine on my channel soon). To be really honest, I don’t have an exact go to look but I use some of the same types of products to achieve a neutral everyday look. i wanted to show a look that was appropriate for everyday situations such as school or work.

My Everyday Makeup

My go-to makeup products

  • Lancôme Le Regard Pro eyebrow kit – brow routine video
  • MAC paint pot in painterly
  • L’Oreal Infallible Never Fail Eyeliner in Carbon Black

  • NARS Larger Than Life Eyeliner in Rue Bonaparte – find here

  • L’Oreal Telescopic Mascara in Carbon Black

  • Lancôme Blush Subtil Palette in Plum Elegance – review

  • Annabelle lipliner in demure

  • L’Oreal Color Riche Balm in Nourishing Nude

For the eye shadows, I used tease, busted, and foxy from the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette (find here).

I decided to switch up a typical neutral brown look with a slightly dramatic smudged liner. I’m also wearing my favorite MLBB (my lips but better) Annabelle lipliner and L’Oreal balm for added moisture. I’m not into ultra nude lips. I wear a sheer application of blush to keep it simple: it’s very easy to over do it or look uneven when blush is applied a hurry. Lastly, I can’t forget my number one staple of the moment, NARS Rue Bonaparte is the perfect color for the water line that stays put all day. It instantly wakes my face up!

Watch how I got the look in my video tutorial – here. What is your everyday makeup look?
