Music Festival Look with Ombre Blue Eyeliner

Two weeks ago, I posted a gradient, ombre blue eyeliner look for the music festival season! Coachella may be long gone, but in Montreal we still have Osheaga and loads of other musical festivities to look forward too.

I did this Music Festival inspired look using different shades of blue eyeliner to create an ombre winged eye effect. I really liked the the result, so I’ve also uploaded a video tutorial that you can watch here.

I think this look would also work with other colour combinations. Perhaps consider the Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliners in Silver, Light Blue and Deep Blue! Lilac to dark purple would be a lovely look too.

Before even starting with the eyeliner, I primed my lids and defined my crease slightly with the matte eyeshadow shades in the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette.

Then I applied Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eye Liner in Turquoise along the inner portion of both my upper and lower lash lines. Consider the one in Mint Julep as an alternative, since Turquoise was limited edition.

For the centre, I used Lancome Kohl in Love liner in Jade Crush.

Then I dragged the last blue, Lancome Kohl in Love liner in Deepwater Blue, across the outer portion of the upper and lower lash lines.

To close the gaps and unify the look, I reached for my Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion to tight line and line the waterline. I also smudged this along the lower and upper lash lines slightly with a Real Techniques accent brush (reviewed here).

I curled my lashes and then applied the Lancome Hypnose Doll Lashes Mascara.

Finally, I decided to use the L’Oréal Infallible The Super Slim Liquid Eyeliner to create a cat flick along the upper lash line. This step is optional or can be done with gel eye-liner.

Above we have my attempt at looking sexy with my finish Music Festival Look!

What to do you think? Would you try this out with different colours?
