L’Oreal Miss Manga Mascara Demo and Review

What’s the deal with Miss Manga mascara anyway?! The beauty community seems to be buzzing about this mascara left and right. Barbara Palvin sports amazing lashes in the campaign and frankly, I wouldn’t mind having doll light lashes either.

I’m a fan of the L’Oréal Voluminous Carbon Black and their Telescopic Carbon Black, so I’m eager to test out this new drugstore mascara. Here’s a post with Miss Manga mascara information, before and after photos and a review.

The wand has a conical shape, but what makes it unique is that it sort of resembles one of those Pearl curling iron wands (yes, like a kinky adult toy). The wand is also fully flexible, which makes the application feel a bit bouncy or springy.

Overall thoughts

Miss Manga mascara delivers volume to the lashes, no doubt. If you are satisfied with one coat of mascara, then you will experience minimal clumping if you maneuver the wand in the appropriate manner. However, when building up to a second coat – clumps are bound to happen! I recommend removing clumps with a clean spoolie. The clumps are not dramatic, but they require a little clean up.

Apart from during application of a second coat, I did not notice any severe fall out, flaking or flaking during the day. I think it’s worth check out and the application process is worth the effort because it adds a lot of volume. It’s not the best elongating mascara, but you can layer this mascara over Telescopic and get amazing results.

I picked this up at on sale Jean Coutu in Downtown Montreal for $7.99, but I’ve seen the regular price as high as $12.99 at Pharmaprix (Shopper’s Drug Mart).

How do you feel about doll lashes and have you tried Miss Manga mascara?
