With the release of Revlon’s new campaign Love Is On, a whole batch of new products are coming our way! I was invited to the Sofitel Hotel in Montreal to have a look at these new product launches with fellow bloggers and beauty media.
A few of them will be release between now and January, but you may have already stumbled onto the NEW Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick and Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer in drugstores across Canada.
NEW Revlon Product Launches
Revlon’s new launches include the Gold Series eye and nail beauty tools.
Revlon Transforming Effects Nail Enamel is a line specifically designed to be worn along or as a top coat to alter your manicure. They have a built in top coat, to boot!
This foundation has been newly formulated to give the skin an airbrushed appearance. I had the opportunity to swatch it and the texture was light and blend-able. The formula has a luminosity to it, there are very minuscule shimmers in it that reflect light. It’s not flat foundation.
This is a multi-purpose product that can be used as a spot concealer or full face foundation. the product glides on with the heat of your skin (no tugging what so ever) and it’s very creamy. It almost dries to a powder finish, which is pretty cool!
At first glance, I thought the Eye Art cream shadows were actually nail polishes! One end can be used as a lid shadow or base and the other is a topper for the lid color or eyeliner. These will come in handy for New Year’s Eve makeup!
Revlon Ultra HD Lip Lacquer & Ultra HD Lipstick
There are 15 shades of the Ultra HD Lip Lacquer. The name Lacquer as opposed to lipgloss implies that this is not translucent. These are actually quite pigmented and come with a brush applicator (non-dough foot).
The Ultra HD Lipstick is available in 20 shades from nudes, browns, pinks, oranges – you name it! This lipstick is designed to be light weight, but still pack a lot of colour! They are less slippery feeling and have better colour pay off than the Lip Butters. These also have a sweet scent.
I said this on instagram and I will say it here: I’m not fond of the packing of this product. They come with a clear cap and the product is not fully retractable until you use up the exposed tip – meaning that it’s easy to nick the lipstick with the cap when putting it on or taking it off.
Have you spotted these new Revlon products? What do you have your eye on?
