Ceramic Glaze Holiday 2015 Collection Swatches

The Ceramic Glaze Holiday 2015 collection has been released this fall and it includes plum, blue, teal and glitter top coats for festive nail polish looks. Here are the swatches and my thoughts on each lacquer in this Holiday 2015 collection. You can find these nail polishes at Shopper’s Drugmart across Canada.

Ceramic Glaze Holiday 2015 Collection Swatches

Sorcery: A dark teal cream, great for Halloween or the Holiday season. The formula was smooth, opaque and easy to apply. I’m wearing 3 coats in the swatch above.

Diamond Dust: This is a holographic micro-glitter top coat suspended in a clear base. The formula was very easy to apply and packed a sufficient amount of micro-glitter to cover the nails in one coat.

Regal: This is an inky dark blue cream. The formula was very similar to Sorcery; smooth, opaque and easy to apply. However, I found it to be slightly thicker. I’m wearing 3 coats in the swatch above.

Snow Queen: This is a clear base filled with medium and large hexagon matte white glitters. I was somewhat disappointed with this one because the particles are sparse in a somewhat thick clear base, which means you need to dig them out and tap them onto the nail so as not to ruin your initial base colour.

Applause: A rich berry plum filled with tiny light purple shimmer specks. I really like the jewel tone of this polish and the subtle shimmers. However, I found it a bit tricky to get a levelled and smooth finish. I’m wearing 3 coats in the swatch above.

Wonderland: This is a purple, olive green and gold duo-chrome shimmer. In my opinion, this was the most unique and gorgeous shade in the collection. Like many duo-chromes, it requires at least 3 coats, but the application is easy and smooth.

Overall, the collection performed well and I enjoyed wearing most of the shades. My favourites were Wonderland and Diamond Dust. They nail polishes have relatively thin and (very standard) rounded brush that can be a bit tricky to work with when polish drips down the steam of the applicator. I’m knit picking because I’m used to thicker brush applicators.

What do you think of the Ceramic Glaze Holiday 2015 Collection?
