June Favourites | Smooth Tanned Legs & More

June is over?! Julying!!! There are only two months of glory left; this is my favourite time of the year despite the consistent leg-grooming. I’ve included an array of items in my June Favourites from nails, beauty, accessories, music and body care products. It’s like a well balanced diet! Sort of…

June Favourites | Smooth Tanned Legs & More

In all seriousness, Forever 21 is upping their game in the dress department. I loath bodycons, perhaps because I don’t have the body to pull it off. Let’s be real for a second, most of us don’t. For $30, you can get a flowy, curve grazing, high-slit, maxi-dress in a rayon-cotton blend which is breathable and comfortable. Mine is sold out but here’s something similar here, here, here and here.

In the summer, I insist on having smooth legs. I exfoliate, epilate, tweeze, oil and moisturise – sometimes simultaneously because I’m crazy. Speaking of simultaneous exfoliation and moisturising, Morrocanoil Body Buff Fleur de Rose does exactly that. I don’t need to moisturise my legs after using this body scrub, although I always want to.

For a sunless tan, I have been mixing Jergens Natural Glow and Avon So Soft Satin Glow. The So Soft Glow is a golden shimmer which masks imperfections on the legs ever so slightly. Think of it as non-permanent and subtle leg makeup. The Jergens Natural Glow is a subtle daily self tanner, which gives you a gradual tan without committing to streaks.

A great pastel or minty polish tends to make me look more sunkissed. This month, my favourite is Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Nail Polish in Prince Char-mint and I top it with their Miracle Gel Nail Top Coat. Despite being a light blue, the nail polish goes on opaque and streak free in only 2 coats or just one if your polishing skills are super-human.

My other favourites this month included my Fossil mini wallet, Annabelle lipliners in Blush, Natural Rose, Buff, and Spice.

As for music, I’ve been listening to HONNE none stop. My favourite songs, so far, are Someone That Loves YouWarm On A Cold NightThe Night. If you aren’t having a happy time in your love-life, then I would warn against listening since the songs are sappy.

Have you tried any of the products I mentioned in my June favourites? If not, do you have any recommendations?
