These new Maybelline Color Jolts seem to be quite similar to the Too Faced Melteds, which retail at more than twice the price.
This is a lip gloss like lip cream which leaves behind a stain. You can dab them on or amp up the intensity with 8x more pigment in every drop. It features a flocked tip precision applicator.
8 Shades have been released in Canada: 05 Never Bare, 10 Stripped Down, 15 Fight Me Fuchsia, 20 Orange Outburst, 25 Talk Back Red, 30 Red-dy or Not, 35 Berry Naughty and 40 Violet Rebel. Shop for them HERE.
Top to bottom, right to left:
- 10 Stripped Down— brown/nude
- 05 Never Bare— baby pink
- 20 Orange Outburst— bright orange
- 15 Fight Me Fuchsia— hot pink
- 30 Red-dy or Not— true red
- 25 Talk Back Red— coral red
- 40 Violet Rebel— purple
- 35 Berry Naughty— berry red
My personal favourites are 10 Stripped Down and 40 Violet Rebel. I’m really impressed with how long wearing and build-able the Color Jolts are. I little bit of product goes a long way, especially with the darker shades. They can easily be worn sheered out or very intensely packed on for stellar opacity.
